Los Diarios escritos en Alfoxden (1798) y Grasmere (1800-1803) por Dorothy Wordsworth, que nunca tuvieron el propósito de ser publicados, documentan el día a día de su vida al lado de su hermano William y de su vecino y gran amigo Samuel Coleridge, dos de los poetas de los Lagos más eminentes.
