Para dar cuenta de la seriedad con que el libro se toma la propuesta del título basta resbalar los ojos por el índice premiliminar en que se recuentan los temas. Al epígrafe del capítulo se adhiere casi siempre un párrafo o más de letra menuda que anticipa las sencias del discurso. Una serie de titulillos numerados pormenoriza luego y hace recuento del pensamiento.
