I was born in Englehart, Ontario and my family moved about 1 to 2 years later to Cochrane, Ontario. ?From the earliest time, my sister and I would be sung to by our parents at bedtime. ?We had our own bedroom and either our mother or father was the soloist. ?Each night was a different parent and they sand different hymns as we requested. ?My favourite was my father singing, ?Life is like a mountain railroad.? ?I feel that hymns and choruses played an important part in my life and salvation. ?As I sang the hymn it made me realize that life was a journey to a destination. ?Where was I heading??
