Esta obra es un primer paso para entender las características del sistema y su potencialidad para enfrentar temas de tráfico en la capital, así como para cuantificar varios de sus componentes, como el hecho de que agrupa más de cincuenta mil vehículos que recorren 12,5 millones de kilómetros al día y que recauda ingresos equivalentes a 2,4 veces los de Transmilenio. Por todo lo anterior, es un trabajo indispensable para investigadores y estudiosos del tema de la movilidad en Bogotá. 10
