Para ello cuenta con Ohesido Sesilú, un anodino vendedor, cuarentón, que yace enfermo de algo desconocido y, en su lecho de muerte, se ha prestado a colaborar con el escritor. Sin saber cómo, acaban todos implicados en una red de contrabandistas iraníes, coreanos y algún que otro sueco. Paradójicamente, aun comportándose de la forma más humana posible, la bondad acaba triunfando.

MALEÏTS SIGUES! (CRIACH LACORTE, MONTSE) (Ficción moderna y contemporanea)

L'Eulàlia, una noia de dinou anys i filla d'una família humil d'un poble de la Noguera, fa de minyona a Barcelona. A petició dels seus pares, ha de tornar al poble i acceptar casar-se amb el Pere, fill únic del senyor Sebastià Cervera. La vida a la nova llar és difícil: ha de consumar una relació no desitjada i el seu sogre la tracta amb hostilitat i violència. L'Eulàlia accepta aquesta vida amb resignació i lluita per tirar endavant, però l'opressió per part del Sebastià li recorda constantment el seu rol dins de la família. L'inici de la Guerra Civil agreuja la vida a casa dels Cervera, i l'Eulàlia ha de fer més que mai per la vida dels seus. Un descobriment inesperat farà trontollar encara més la seva vida i li farà canviar la percepció del que ha estat el seu món des que es va casar. --- L'obra presenta un nou i magnífic personatge literari, Eulàlia, que, en la seva lluita a favor de la supervivència i la dignitat, no dubtarà d'enfrontar-se al catastròfic món que li ha tocat viure. LUZ DE ESTORIL,LA (DUQUE AQUILINO) (Ficción moderna y contemporanea)

Esta novela no es el primer escrito ni el último de los míos sobre el que se cierne la sombra de don Juan de Borbón y Battenberg. De hecho, cabría decir que es su protagonista, como Pepe el Romano lo es el de La casa de Bernarda Alba. Y es que, en torno a él, que nunca aparece en escena, giran las peripecias más bien divertidas en que se desenvuelven sus personajes. Lo cierto es que su figura siempre despertó en mí curiosidad y simpatía, tal vez por la devoción que le profesaban personas de mi entorno, sobre todo en la Universidad y en la Milicia Universitaria, cuyo primer curso hice en la Escuela de Suboficiales de San Fernando, la misma en la que él fue cadete cuando era Escuela Naval.
