?What is impressive is the ambit of this collection, the way Morgan explores with equal authority the natural world, history, mythology, the vagaries of humankind, and grief. A finely-tuned intelligence shines through these poems, which are lexically rich and jam-packed with precise imagery. Her poems marry the down-to-earth to the numinous; they make evident the breadth of Morgan?s engagement with life and with language, and her passion for fusing the two.? ?? Kathryn Lomer

FROG’S PHONE ANXIETY (AHERN, BRENDAN) (Poesía)
A collection of animal poems, inspired by love, cigarettes, and Darwinism. This chapbook by Brendan Ahern is dedicated to?all the animals that get left out. Those who don?t eat enough, and get beaten by the alpha. Those?whose nests aren?t up to scratch and find themselves living alone. It's a book for all those?spring peepers heard?calling late into July.

NOT ALOUD (JARMICK, CHRISTOPHER J.;AYERS, LANA HECHTMAN) (Poesía)
Not Aloud presents some 30 plus years of Christopher J. Jarmick?s marvelous poetry. Jarmick?s thematic territory is expansive-- family, relationships, the art of writing, philosophy, his patented poem starters, and much, much more. His language is musical, approachable, and memorable. His refreshing turns of phrases stand clich?s on their heads: ?The clouds/are not metaphors at all./ They hide the sky,/they get fat,/sometimes they burst,/but not with tears,/Mr. Tambourine Man,/just with rain.? Full of humor, acute observation, and deep emotion, Not Aloud is a collection you?ll want to return to again and again. ? ? --Lana Hechtman Ayers, author of A New Red, editor MoonPath Press.
