El presente libro tiene su origen en el deseo de un grupo de compañeros de hacer los honores al Profesor Doctor Francisco Clavijo Hernández con ocasión de su inminente jubilación y para hacer pública nuestra gratitud hacia quién ha sabido cumplir con sus deberes universitarios en grado sumo. Los valores universitarios del profesor Clavijo se han transmitido más allá del área de Derecho Financiero y Tributario a toda la Universidad, y especialmente a las Facultades de Derecho y de Economía. Por esta razón, la obra cuenta con colaboraciones de distintas disciplinas jurídicas y económicas: Derecho financiero y tributario, Economía aplicada, Derecho mercantil, Derecho administrativo, Derecho civil, Derecho procesal, Derecho romano, Derecho penal y Derecho del trabajo. Además de la colaboración de prácticos del Derecho que han estado estrechamente vinculados al profesor Clavijo durante su carrera académica y profesional. EL PROCESO DE BOLONIA: UN SUEÑO CONVERTIDO EN PESADILLA (LINDE PANIAGUA, ENRIQUE)

El libro El Proceso de Bolonia: un sueño convertido en pesadilla tiene por objeto central explicar el origen y analizar jurídicamente el Proceso de Bolonia, un proyecto de carácter intergubernamental en que están implicados, en la actualidad, todos los Estados de la Unión Europea, y cerca de una veintena de otros estados europeos. Para proceder a dicha explicación se estructura el trabajo analizando los tres escenarios de la educación superior en Europa, desde la perspectiva española: El intergubernamental del Proceso de Bolonia, el de la Unión Europea y el español en que se interpretan los dos escenarios anteriores. Y el resultado de dicho análisis arroja numerosos resultados negativos: la insuficiencia de los instrumentos jurídicos de que dispone el Proceso de Bolonia para levar a buen fin sus objetivos; la falta de coordinación entre el Proceso de Bolonia y la línea que sigue la Unión Europea en lo concerniente a la educación superior; así como que la deficiente versión española del Proceso de Bolonia. De manera que la luz que pudiera suponer en sus orígenes el Proceso de Bolonia parece haber sido invadida por sombras. De ahí el título del libro que es una descripción metafórica de su contenido.
