GONZALO ANAYA: LA PASSIÓ EDUCATIVA

Gonzalo Anaya Santos (Burgos, 1914-València, 2008), maestro desde los años de la Segunda República, doctor en Filosofía, catedrático de Filosofía en institutos y escuelas de Magisterio desde 1953, ha ejercido una larga tarea profesional, primero en Santiago de Compostela y desde 1973 en la Escuela de Magisterio de Valencia. Fue miembro del Departamento de Sociología de la Universitat de València y profesor emérito de 1985 a 2002, y perteneció al Consejo Escolar Valenciano desde su creación. Varias instituciones llevan su nombre, ha recibido numerosos reconocimientos y distinciones, y en 2004 le fue otorgada la Medalla de la Universitat de València, con motivo de la cual se edita este volumen. Gonzalo siempre se definió como socrático, ya que se decantaba por la lección magistral o la conferencia y la conversación, pero a lo largo de su vida profesional desarrolló una importante y variada producción escrita, parte de la cual, sobre todo la más reciente, se recoge en este libro. Además, se reproduce su introducción al Viaje por las escuelas de Galicia de Luis Bello y los esquemas y textos de su participación constante en la Escola d'Estiu del País Valencià de la cual fue animador comprometido desde los inicios. En el DVD que acompaña al libro se recuperan sus dos películas sobre el Guernika --muestra de la otra pasión de Gonzalo: el cine-- y el documental del homenaje que el Colegio de Doctores y Licenciados en Filosofía y Letras le rindió en 1981. Infatigable, continuó leyendo y escribiendo hasta el último momento y, como dijo con una sonrisa de niño travieso, trabajando por el advenimiento pacífico de la Tercera República.
