This Simple Sabotage Field Manual Strategic Services (Provisional) is published for the information and guidance of all concerned and will be used as the basic doctrine for Strategic Services training for this subject. The contents of this Manual should be carefully controlled and should not be allowed to come into unauthorized hands. The instructions may be placed in separate pamphlets or leaflets according to categories of operations but should be distributed with care and not broadly. They should be used as a basis of radio broadcasts only for local and special cases and as directed by the theater commander. AR 380-5, pertaining to handling of secret documents, will be complied with in the handling of this Manual.

EFE. 20 ANYS DE NOTÍCIES EN CATALÀ

El 3 de juliol de 1989 EFE es va convertir en la primera agència d'informació que va establir un servei de notícies en català. El suport de la Diputació de Barcelona, l'Associació Catalana de la Premsa Comarcal i les Emissores Municipals de Catalunya, primer, i, després, de la Generalitat va ser fonamental en el desenvolupament d'aquest servei, l'objectiu del qual era contribuir al desenvolupament del mapa comunicatiu en català.Aquesta aposta va permetre als mitjans de comunicació local l'accés als serveis d'una agència de notícies amb un cost suportable, al principi per fax, després per satèl·lit i ara per Internet. Si en un primer moment la informació en català que arribava als nostres clients era una selecció de notícies, un conveni amb la Conselleria de Cultura el 1997 va permetre oferir en català la totalitat de la nostra producció. El servei en català abasta ja tots els formats informatius amb què treballem. Més del vuitanta per cent dels nostres clients reben les notícies en català. És una aposta estratègica que es mantindrà i es reforçarà en els nous projectes que impulsarem davant el repte multimèdia.En aquests vint anys hem recorregut un llarg camí i ara tenim davant un de nou no menys apassionant. Per a aquest aniversari hem volgut aplegar una part de la feina dels periodistes d'EFE Catalunya. Ells han fet possible explicar el món a Catalunya i Catalunya al món, i, a més, en català. Aquest llibre recull un conjunt d'imatges que formen part de la història del país, però també altres de menys conegudes, perquè els petits gestos són també part dels grans esdeveniments.
