Fotos del Sitio es el proyecto fotográfico que presenta Domingo Pérez, con el que ha obtenido una de las Ayudas “Francisco de Zurbarán” 2005 de la Consejería de Cultura. Dicho proyecto se entiende como una manera de aludir a la memoria, transformando los espacios cotidianos a través de la fotografía, despojándolos de su condición de afectuosos para aparentar ser espacios incógnitos, intrigantes... La finalidad es hacer un replanteamiento de la identidad que proporciona el hábitat en el que vive a través del documento virtual. No es una visión onírica ni metafísica, sino emocional. Domingo Pérez (Badajoz, 1979) es Licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona en el año 2003. Recientemente ha colaborado en el mundo de los cortometrajes, en fotografía artística y como ayudante de dirección.

CASIANO ALGUACIL. LOS INICIOS DE LA FOTO GRAFÍA EN TOLEDO

A comienzos de la década de los ochenta, se editó Toledo en la fotografía del Alguacil, 1832-1914 un magnífico libro realizado por historiadores toledanos a través del que se rescató del olvido, y se dio a conocer, la figura de Casiano Alguacil. Mediante este estudio, resultado de una labor de investigación en bibliotecas, hemerotecas y archivos fotográficos de distintas instituciones, se pretende demostrar el merecido lugar que Casiano Alguacil ocupa dentro de la historia de la fotografía, ya que, sin duda, fue uno de los mejores fotógrafos españoles de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX.
