L'edició facsímil del Cançoner dels comtes d'Urgell ha representat una important recuperació per a la biblioteca de temàtica urgellenca, s'ha partit d'una edició del 1906 que s'ha reproduït íntegrament en el llibre que presentem, i que, a més s'ha enriquit amb l'edició que aquest cop se n'ha fet a cura de tres estudiosos del llibre, aquests amb tres visions complementàries de la temàtica que recull el Cançoner han bastit el llibre amb un contingut afegit, ens parlen del manuscrit, del llibreter que feu l'edició i de l'impressor.
