La maestría de Henry James (1843-1916) está fuera de toda duda, en cualquiera de los dos continentes donde residió, en todos los géneros literarios que abordó fuera cual fuera la técnica o la temática, pero es en sus relatos donde el talento y la excelencia se dan más frecuente y rotundamente.
