JOAN COROMINES. . UNA VIDA DE LLEGENDA (SOL BROS, SERGI)

Per bastir la seva obra, en el curs de molts decennis, Joan Coromines va recórrer a peu tots els municipis dels Països Catalans; excursionista empedreït, també va ser el primer català a coronar un cim verge andí de més de 5.000 metres. Perquè la llarga vida de Joan Coromines el va portar a viure i protagonitzar alguns dels episodis més vibrants i audaços dels anys vint i trenta del segle XX, a pagar amb exilis les dictadures de Primo de Rivera i de Francisco Franco, a exercir la docència en universitats diverses (a Barcelona, a l'Argentina, als Estats Units), però sempre posant la seva vida al servei d'un ideal que no és altre sinó el redreçament de la pàtria. La conjuntura històrica, el llegat familiar i l'entorn que Joan Cormoines es va triar van contribuir en diversa mesura a la configuració d'una personalitat que ha esdevingut llegendària. Aquest llibre de Sergi Sol ens proposa una aproximació exhaustiva i minuciosa a aquesta figura incomparable.Sergi Sol i Bros (Barcelona, 1970) és llicenciat en Dret per la Universitat de Barcelona i doctorand en Dret Urbanístic per la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Treballa com a periodista al setmanari El 3 de Vuit, ha col·laborat amb diversos mitjans, com les revistes Sàpiens o Descobrir Catalunya, i és columnista de diversos mitjans de comunicació. És coautor de Terra i Llibertat, 100 entitats dels Països Catalans (Edicions 62) i membre del Patronat de la Fundació Escacc (Espai Català de Cultura i Comunicació).
