La sonoridad musical del título, se va exponiendo en once capítulos que desgrana en apartados, agrupados con temas diversos, de fácil lectura, donde combina el interés, la gracia y el amor hasta en las cosas más menudas. Cuando uno está leyendo, el mayor goce es que el autor consiga llevarnos hasta el mundo que crea en su obra, de modo que parezca estamos dentro de él, que hemos entrado en aquel ambiente como uno más de los muchos personajes porque ha sabido crear un clima. La narración de estas «Memorias», en prosa rica y viva, crea interés. Y cumple el propósito que le anima en la introducción: recordar, disfrutar y relatar.
