LA FUENTE DE LA VIDA (GABIROL, IBN)

Ibn Gabirol, nació en Málaga, en c.1020. Reconocido como uno de los varones más ilustres en la literatura y en la filosofía hebraicas. Recibió una excelente educación en Zaragoza, dominando el hebreo bíblico y el árabe. El mundo latino medieval lo conoció por el nombre de Avicebrón, sin embargo en la Europa occidental no se llegó a conocer su verdadera identidad hasta mediados del siglo XIX. La obra fundamental de Ibn Gabirol fue La Fuente de la Vida.
