Erothema es un libro de poemas que aborda el tema del amor y el deseo con una especial atención a la belleza, se diría que no solo de la amada, sino del propio amador y su emoción, y hasta del mismo mundo en el que se ama; una belleza que, en el libro, proviene del lenguaje y la música poéticos, pero, también, muy especialmente, de la expresión del pensamiento sobre ese deseo y ese amor y esa belleza. El libro recoge el testigo de una larga tradición, remitiendo a todo aquello que viene cimentando el pensamiento humano sobre estos temas, de un modo que resulta en una poesía contemporánea y lúcida.
