Trossos de vida és la biografia d'una nena nascuda a la postguerra que relata les vivències i els sentiments de diferents èpoques de la seva vida, des del seu naixement fins a la seva jubilació Una vida plena de records i que, sense cap pretensió, vol transmetre als seus fills i als seus néts. Una vida senzilla i anònima com la de moltes altres. Plena d'amor i agraïment per totes les mostres d'estimació rebudes al llarg d'aquesta. Plena d'alegries i il·lusions en els moments plàcids i emotius viscuts, però també plena de dolor i esforç per superar els difícils moments que ens porta la vida en les situacions més dures. Conscient de la gran sort que va tenir de néixer en el si d'una família senzilla i honesta que li va saber transmetre els valors humans de la honradesa, l'estimació, l'agraïment i la responsabilitat. Que es va empeltar i passar a formar part d'una altra família, la del seu marit, que li van donar una nova visió del món, amb altres qualitats diferents i semblants alhora. Que va formar la seva pròpia família en parella, amb el conjunt de valors que va anar aprenent al llarg de la seva vida i que voldria transmetre a la seva descendència.
